Goodbye Tanta
It has been quite a while since I’ve written anything here, but the news that Tanta of Calculated Risk has passed away is too sad and I wanted to pay my humble homage to her.
I was blessed to work with some fantastic analysts at my first job in asset management, where I was particularly close to the structured finance group. They were phenomenal. Nevertheless, I don’t think my old friends would be too hurt if I said that Tanta more than filled the void when it came to the mortgage market. She was by far the best mortgage and structured product analyst I have ever had the pleasure of reading.
The world just lost a phenomenal person. Goodbye Tanta.
